Mark Aitchison is a tax focused financial professional, investor and private equity expert with DST, opportunity zone, and development focus. He devotes his time helping companies enter the capital raising space through structuring offerings, marketing, and coordination with capital partners across varied markets.

Mark has worked in various roles and most recently was Director of Capital Markets for BakerTilly, one of the top six national accounting firms in the US, where he created and developed a leading DST product platform for the firm. Prior to Baker Tilly he was one of the investors and initial employees of Triloma, a capital markets platform with private equity, investment banking, crowdfunding, and public fund opportunities for investors. Mark assisted in raising capital and placed over $700M in equity across dozens of investment opportunities.

To date Mark has distributed 80+ financial offerings supporting advisors, RIAs, and family offices. He is known for his passion for capital formation across diverse investor channels, for his ability to navigate and get ahead of ever-changing regulatory environments and for always seeking ways technology can enhance these processes. Prior to distributing financial products, Mark scratch build an insurance and financial advisory firm and served in the US Army.
